Funerals and Coronavirus

The continued impact of Coronavirus is proving difficult for many, but even more so for those who have sadly lost loved ones and are entrusted to make funeral arrangements. Please be assured that during these times our caring team will do our utmost to provide you and your family with the funeral service that you (or the person who has died) would originally have wanted. We will do all we can to arrange a service that is fitting and personal, delivered in a respectful and dignified manner, whilst also adhering to government guidelines and the limitations imposed at those times for the safety of others. Despite the future being full of unknowns, one thing we can promise is that our team will always do everything we can to make it as easy as possible for you to say goodbye.

With the welfare of our staff, the families in our care and the wider community at heart at all times, our processes and procedures have had to change over the last few weeks, and continue to evolve on an almost daily basis. Our team are taking every step possible to ensure that funerals go ahead as planned, with services provided to the same high standard of care, but families should expect some disruption to their plans during these unprecedented times. We recognise how unfortunate any changes to your wishes or those of your loved one must be, but also understand how important and necessary it is for us all to adhere to the current government guidance.

In challenging circumstances we remain committed to doing everything we possibly can to support you, your family and our local community, and we must all work together for the greater good of all. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you are unsure about during these uncertain times. We are available to answer your questions night and day and really do care. Stay responsible, keep safe and we hope to see brighter times together again in the not so distant future.
