Help in Times of Sadness

With the darker mornings, colder days and longer nights fast approaching, those who are a bereaved may find this time of year a particularly challenging time, both mentally and emotionally. Many will be struggling, reminiscing about times gone by, and remembering those that are no longer with them. Those feelings are very personal and can be hard to deal with. However you choose to cope with that grief, please remember that our team, as well as specialist counsellors, are always here to help you.

Through our continued partnership with SAIF Care, those who are struggling can receive up to six free counselling sessions, either to be used by one person or split between various members of a family. Delivered by qualified bereavement counsellors, these sessions can take place at a location of your choosing, by telephone, or even via online chat and email. This service is confidential and free of charge to all families who have previously used the services of Cliff Bradley & Sons Funeral Directors.

Ahead of the clocks winding back in the early hours of tomorrow, senior director Carlton Bradley gave the following insight. "As funeral directors, we often see people at the start of their journey of grief and feel we would like to do more to assist. We know from experience, personally and through our practice, that these feelings of sadness and loss don’t end with the funeral. This counselling service enables us to go above and beyond for the families in our care, in order to ensure they receive the support and advice that they need at one of life's most difficult times".
