Duke's Land Rover

Funeral Transport

Many of us followed coverage from the funeral of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on Saturday. Some may have noticed the bespoke Land Rover Defender hearse, a project spanning sixteen years and designed by the Duke himself. Finished in military green with an open top rear, it was one of the many personal touches throughout the day, part of which makes each and every funeral a unique celebration of life.

Here at Cliff Bradley and Sons we strive to ensure that every aspect of your loved one’s funeral is personally tailored to them, and that includes their final journey. The most common choice for our families is a traditional hearse, but more and more are seeking an alternative means, something more individual. From lorries and off-road vehicles to camper vans, and even motorbikes with sidecars, we will help you to find transport that is both meaningful and personal, ensuring a unique and special commemoration.
