Memorial Tree

Christmas can be a difficult time of year if you’ve lost a loved one. Whilst most people are joyous and celebrating the occasion, we recognise that many people will be struggling, reminiscing about times gone by, and remembering those that are no longer with them. Furthermore, with the exceptional year we’ve all had, it could be even more challenging than usual for those who are bereaved. Supporting our families, through December we will again be hosting our annual memorial trees, giving you the opportunity to remember those passed in your own special way.

Anyone and everyone is welcome on the run up to Christmas, to write a personal message of remembrance, hang it on one of our trees, and take a moment to reflect. You don’t have to have arranged a funeral with us, and your loss doesn’t have to have been a recent one. With the current restrictions, we will also be happy to write and hang a message, on behalf of you and your family. Simply call our helpful team or send us an email with details and your personal message.

The trees will be at both of our funeral homes, in Gainsborough and Saxilby, from today (Tuesday 1st December). You are welcome to visit or call us during our normal office hours at either branch, or send us a message via email at any time. Below are some photos of our tree from a previous year.
