Baby Loss Awareness

This week is Baby Loss Awareness Week, a time for families and communities to come together and remember the precious babies that lit our lives for such a short time. Now in its 22nd year, this annual event provides a safe and supportive space for anyone touched by pregnancy and baby loss, to share their experiences and know they are not alone. Pregnancy and baby loss is a deeply personal experience, and for many, it can feel isolating. By breaking the silence and encouraging open conversations, we hope to offer comfort and a sense of togetherness to those who need it.

We invite families to join us on Tuesday 15th October by lighting a candle at 7pm in memory of their loved one. This simple act serves as a powerful reminder that no one has to grieve alone. Share your candle photo to raise awareness and connect with others who have faced similar losses. Please remember that support is available. You are not alone. If you are finding things difficult this week, take time to care for yourself, and know that we are here, now and throughout the year, our family caring for yours. For further information and support, please visit the Baby Loss Awareness website.
