Babworth Open Day

This coming Saturday, Babworth Crematorium opens its doors, inviting members of the public to attend their open day between 10am and 2pm. A reasonably new facility to the area, based near Retford, the crematorium first opened its doors in August 2018 and is fast becoming a popular option for our families. It is currently the closest facility to Gainsborough (just over 13 miles away) and is set amongst glorious Bassetlaw countryside, with spacious and peaceful grounds.

On the day you'll be able to meet the crematorium staff, who will be at hand to answer any queries you may have about funerals and cremation. There will be tours of all areas (including behind the curtains) and it'll be the perfect opportunity to have an informal conversation and ask those questions you never thought you’d ask. Alternatively you could simply choose to remember a loved one as you explore the facilities at your own pace.
