Baby Loss Awareness

Baby Loss Awareness

This week is Baby Loss Awareness Week, an opportunity for us to come together to remember and commemorate our much-loved babies. Allied with over a hundred baby loss charities in the UK and around the globe, and now in its 20th year, this campaign aims to give anyone touched by pregnancy and baby loss a safe and supportive space to share their experiences and feel that they are not alone. Pregnancy and baby loss is a devastating and uniquely personal experience, and for many it is a heartbreaking and challenging reality.

By breaking the silence, waving a light, and remembering all the precious little lives that have been lost, we hope to in some way provide comfort whilst making a real and lasting difference. As a token from our team, free LED candles can be collected from our offices in Gainsborough and Saxilby this week, ready for the global wave of light event, set to take place at 7pm on Saturday 15th October. Families are also welcome to leave a message through our online dedication facility, on a special page we have setup to support those affected by baby loss. If you are finding things tough during the week, take a break, look after yourself and know that we are here for you, if you need us.
