Beckingham Bowls Gala

As premier sponsors of Beckingham Bowls Club, we recently presented trophies and cash prizes at an open pairs bowls gala in Beckingham, marking the 71st anniversary of their club. 56 bowlers from Gainsborough and the surrounding areas competed in a fierce battle from 10am to 6pm, with food and refreshments kindly prepared by club members and their partners.

The winners were the East Markham duo of Vinnie Mash and Jason Sharp, who beat Janie Hancock and Nigel Wood from Babworth Road by one shot in the final. George Hilton and Jamie Voase from Ordsall took third spot, with Rosanna Bell and Mo Addlesee from Belton finishing fourth. Bowls club captain, Roger Platts, commented, "My thanks to Carlton and Edward for taking the time to come along and present the cup and prizes at our tournament. We had an excellent day and all the hard work paid off, with record proceeds raised to replace our tea rooms and pavilion."

Photographed, the winners were presented with their prizes by Carlton Bradley and Edward Kliszcz. Dedicated to the local community, Cliff Bradley & Sons are proud to support local teams, recognising and appreciating sporting talent.
