Dying Matters Awareness

Cliff Bradley & Sons would like to invite you to a special event we are hosting as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week. Members of our team will be near the fountain at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough on Tuesday 14th May, from 11am to 1pm, answering any questions you may have and helping in any way we can. We’ll be giving advice and support on what you need to think about, the funeral options available, pre-paid funeral plans, recording your funeral wishes and dispelling the myths around death and dying.

West Lindsey District Council will also joining us this year to showcase their new crematorium, Lea Fields, along with a local funeral celebrant, wills and probate solicitor and palliative care nurses, who will all be on hand to help and offer their advice. Dying matters, so let's talk about it.

This year from 13th to the 19th May, Dying Matters Awareness Week gives us an unparalleled opportunity to place the importance of talking about dying, death and bereavement firmly on the agenda. This national campaign aims to encourage people to talk about their wishes towards the end of their lives, including where they want to die and their funeral plans with friends, family and loved ones. Talking about dying makes it more likely that you, or your loved one, will die as you might have wished, removing potential anguish for your family and allowing you to get on with living life to the full. We hope to see you there.
